Opportunity Overview

The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MoAI), Jubaland State of Somalia, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement and delivery of agricultural/livestock fodder tractors and associated implements under the Somalia Food Systems Resilience Project (FSRP).

The procurement is financed through World Bank financing provided for the implementation of the Somalia Food Systems Resilience Project.

The procurement covers six (6) agricultural tractors and associated agricultural implements and equipment, to be delivered to Kismayo, Jubaland State of Somalia within the specified delivery period.

The bidding process is open to eligible bidders in accordance with the applicable World Bank Procurement Regulations.

Bidding Procedure

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) under the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers.

The applicable regulations include the July 2016 edition, as revised in November 2017, August 2018, November 2020, and September 2023.

The procurement follows a One-Envelope Bidding Process.

Electronic bidding is not permitted.

Bid Submission Deadline

Bid Security
